PEP
Review Course
Course order form may
be found here.
We
are pleased to make available this PEP Review Course,
presented by Marlin C. Hoover, Ph.D., M.S., ABPP.
The Psychopharmacology Examination for Psychologists
(PEP) is administered by the APA College of Professional
Psychology. It is a 150-item test of competency
in pharmacotherapy and psychopharmacology. Though
the passing score varies slightly across versions,
in most cases passing requires a score of 70% or
better. Additional information about the PEP is
available at the Division 55 website, at www.division55.org/PEPInformation.htm.
The
PEP review materials are provided on a CD which will
include a file with instructions about how to use
the materials provided. In addition, your package
includes the set of content areas defined for the
PEP (on CD), an 80-item test that covers all the materials
in the package, an answer sheet, and a satisfaction
survey.
You
are eligible for 16 hours of Continuing Education
credit for completing this home study course. To receive
your credit, you must send (1) your completed answer
sheet, and (2) your completed Participant Evaluation
to:
Division
55 Administrative Office
American
Psychological Association
750
First Street, NE
Washington,
DC 20002-4242
When
your materials are received, your test will be graded. If
you achieved at least 70% (63 items) correct, you
will receive credit for the course, and a certificate
will be sent verifying completion.
The
cost of the course is $300. It may be ordered
directly from Keith Cooke at the address shown above.
We
hope your find this program rewarding, both as a preparation
for the PEP, and as an educational tool in its own
right.
Sincerely,
Mario
